Aitor Ronda Land to Sigma Club Ibiza for a 4-Hour Extended Set — Saturday, 18 July

Some DJs follow trends. Others create a sound that remains timeless.

On Saturday, 18 July, Aitor Ronda arrives at Sigma Club Ibiza for a very special 4-hour extended set, giving the crowd the opportunity to experience his vision of techno without compromises—exactly as it was meant to be heard.

For nearly three decades, Aitor Ronda has been one of Spain’s most respected names in underground techno. Since beginning his career in Barcelona in 1996, he has remained committed to one essential principle: groove comes first.

Long before groove-driven techno became one of the dominant sounds on dancefloors worldwide, Aitor had already built his identity around hypnotic rhythm, tribal percussion, rolling basslines and relentless energy. Rather than adapting to changing fashions, he stayed true to his musical philosophy—and today that authenticity has become his greatest strength.

His influence on the Spanish electronic music scene stretches far beyond the DJ booth. During the early 2000s he helped shape Barcelona’s underground movement by presenting the city’s first performances from artists including Ben Sims, Óscar Mulero, DJ Rush and Umek, introducing a new generation of techno to local audiences.

At just 21 years old, Aitor released his first vinyl productions under the guidance of legendary producer Mark Williams. Together they collaborated as Kryptonite, with remixes from respected artists such as Ben Sims, Mark Broom and Paul Mac, establishing his reputation as both a producer and selector.

His career continued to grow through a residency at the legendary Florida 135, alongside regular appearances at elrow and the iconic Monegros Desert Festival. Since then he has performed throughout Spain and across Europe, including appearances at renowned venues such as Space Ibiza and Privilege Ibiza.

As a producer, Aitor’s catalogue now exceeds 500 releases, including a Beatport Techno #1 with Tweezer, multiple Beatport Top 10 releases, continued support from Carl Cox, and the creation of his own label, WHACK.

Why an Extended Set Matters

At Sigma Club Ibiza, we believe some artists deserve time.

A four-hour set allows a DJ to tell a complete story instead of simply delivering peak-time moments. It creates space to build tension, explore different textures, and develop a genuine connection with the dancefloor.

For an artist whose career has always been built around groove rather than instant gratification, this format is the perfect match.

Expect deep rhythms, driving percussion, rolling basslines and carefully crafted transitions that evolve naturally throughout the night.

Sigma Club Ibiza — Intimate Underground

Sigma continues its mission of bringing authentic underground artists into an intimate environment where music takes priority over spectacle.

No distractions.

No shortcuts.

Just quality sound, close connection with the DJ and a dancefloor built for people who truly appreciate electronic music.

If groove is what moves you, 18 July is a date not to miss.

NO GROOVE. NO PARTY. GET FUNKY!
